Information, Communication, Technology, and Innovation Principal Secretary Victor Kyalo has said the government will attract and support technology companies into the country to grow innovative services and products.

Eng. Kyalo said relocation of some global technology Companies to Kenya will facilitate join ventures that will allow for partnership in designing of technology solution for local and export market.

Speaking in Nairobi during a Cocktail hosted by Cathexis, a South Africa technology solution provider, Eng. Kyalo said local companies should leverage on such partnerships to access and establish themselves in the global market.

Cathexis Managing Director Gus Brecher said their company was attracted to Kenya because of the country’s position as a leader of technological innovation in the continent.

Mr. Brecher added that their Company also chose to invest in the country because of its peaceful environment and enterprising citizens.
