Dear Smart Africa member,

Last year, Girls in ICT Rwanda partnered with Smart Africa to expand Ms. Geek competition to all its member States. In 2017, we received applications from across Africa and our finalists were from five (5) different countries: Ivory Coast, Kenya, Niger, Rwanda and Uganda.

We are hoping this year to sensitize more girls from all the twenty-two (22) member states for this great opportunity to participate in both the Ms. Geek competition and Transform Africa summit 2018.

Ms. Geek is a competition designed to inspire African girls to be part of solving the continent’s challenges using technology and encourage them to choose a career in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

We therefore invite you to give a chance to female students aged between 13 and 25 years by sharing with them information about the ongoing Ms. Geek Competition.

This year’s winner will be crowned in May, 2018 during the Transform Africa Summit.
