Redeployed Officers Poised to Bolster Digital Superhighway Pillar

The Principal Secretary for ICT and Digital Economy, Eng. John Tanui, CBS, today welcomed 44 officers redeployed to the Ministry by the Public Service Commission (PSC) from the now-defunct National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF).

 

Eng. Tanui noted that their integration is strategically vital to strengthening the Ministry's capacity to deliver on the digital superhighway pillar of the government's development agenda.

To ensure a smooth transition and effective integration, the PS directed that the new officers undergo a comprehensive induction programme to equip them with a holistic understanding of the Ministry's operations, policy frameworks, and its critical role in driving digital transformation across the nation.

The meeting was attended by Washington Okoth, Secretary for ICT Digital Infrastructure Directorate; D.K. Gicheru, Director of HRM&D; and other senior Ministry officials.
