Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo, EGH, hosts his counterpart, Dr.Bosun Tijani, Nigerian Minister
Today, the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy, H.E Hon. William Kabogo, EGH, hosted his counterpart, Dr.Bosun Tijani, who is the Nigerian Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, in his office for a courtesy call during his visit to Kenya for the ongoing Africa Forward Summit, which concludes today.
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Kenya and Nigeria in the ICT sector, exploring opportunities for innovation, digital transformation, knowledge exchange and regional cooperation aimed at advancing Africa’s technological growth and economic integration.
Dr. Tijani commended Kenya’s remarkable progress in technology and digital infrastructure, particularly the ongoing implementation of the 100,000km national fibre connectivity programme.
The CS reaffirmed the remarks made earlier by H.E. President William Ruto during the official opening of the summit, emphasizing that Africa’s development must be driven by Africans through the effective utilization of our own resources, talent and innovation.
