Government Strengthens Push for Inclusive Connectivity in Northern Kenya
Efforts to expand digital inclusion and connectivity in Northern Kenya were at the centre of a meeting this afternoon between Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Mr Stephen Isaboke, and Hon. Umulkher Harun Mohamed, Nominated Member of Parliament.
The discussions focused on practical interventions to improve connectivity in unserved and underserved communities in Garissa and across the wider Northern region, with a shared commitment to ensuring that no community is left behind in Kenya’s digital transformation journey.
The engagement also underscored the importance of greater inclusion of young leaders in shaping legislation and policy, particularly in addressing the needs of youth and marginalised regions, as the Government advances its agenda for equitable and inclusive development.
