Today, the State Department for ICT and the Digital Economy in partnership with Konza Technopolis proudly participated in the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign, heeding the Presidential Directive to plant 1.5 million trees this fiscal year.
🌍 Campaign Aim: 15 Billion trees by 2032 to increase National tree cover to 30%
Our team planted 1,000 seedlings across 1 hectare at Konza City, Machakos County, greening the Konza Nature Park. Species included Senna siamea, Croton, Moringa, and Acacia.
We call upon all Kenyans, tech innovators, and partners to embrace this green initiative. Let’s digitise our future and restore our environment
