PS Isaboke Reviews Performance and Progress on Digitisation Agenda
The Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Mr. Stephen Isaboke, EBS, today held a meeting with the Heads of Departments (HoDs) of the State Department to review performance for the current Financial Year.
In his remarks, the PS noted that overall performance had improved compared to the previous Financial Year. However, he emphasised the need for continued effort to ensure full compliance with Performance Contract (PC) targets. He urged all HoDs to maintain proper documentation and evidence in line with PC requirements to support accurate reporting and assessment.
The meeting also reviewed progress under the digitisation agenda, where the electronic Government Procurement (eGP) system is now operational, and the Government Advertising Management Information System (GAMIS), which will digitise the functions of the Government Advertising Agency (GAA), is advancing well.
PS Isaboke further underscored the importance of accountability, urging departments to work towards achieving a zero-fault audit.
The PS commended the collective teamwork demonstrated during the national mourning period of the Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, noting that the State Department successfully executed its mandate in standardising Government messaging across media and digital platforms. He lauded the officers for their professionalism and commitment to duty.
