PS Isaboke Officiates KIMC Eldoret Campus Graduation Class of 2025
Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Mr Stephen Isaboke, EBS has praised the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication Eldoret Campus for its growing impact in strengthening media training and nurturing young talent in the North Rift region.
Speaking as Chief Guest during the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025, the PS congratulated the graduands and described the day as a celebration of Kenya’s creative potential.
He noted that each graduate’s achievement reflected the collective effort of families, lecturers and the learners themselves, saying, “Graduation is never an individual achievement, it is a collective triumph of families that sacrificed, learners that gave their all, and educators who played their part. Kenya’s greatest resource is the brilliance and resilience of her young people.”
The PS commended the determination and creativity demonstrated by the students throughout their studies, adding that the country’s media and creative industries depend on the skills and innovation of young professionals like those graduating from KIMC.
He urged them to enter the workforce with confidence, integrity and boldness, reminding them that the digital age offers unprecedented opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship and content creation.
The PS also used the occasion to reaffirm the Government’s commitment to strengthening KIMC Eldoret Campus and transforming it into a centre of excellence in media, communication and creative arts.
The ceremony also highlighted the important partnership between the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and the County Government of Uasin Gishu, a collaboration that began seven years ago and has since opened high-quality media training to communities in the North Rift, Western and Nyanza regions.
