Broadcasting and Telecommunications PS Stephen Isaboke Engages Regional Partners on Northern Corridor Integration Project Progress

Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary Steve Isaboke EBS paid a courtesy call on Hon. Paula Ingabire, the Minister for ICT and Innovation in the Republic of Rwanda today morning. 

The PS is an official visit to the Republic of Rwanda to discuss the progress of the Northern Corridor Integration Project (NCIP), a regional initiative launched in 2013 by Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, and later expanded to also include South Sudan, Burundi and the DRC.

The PS also joined a high-level meeting on the adoption of the Northern Corridor Integration Project (NCIP) report, which will be presented at the upcoming ministerial round table. 

Other PS’s present were; Dr Aminah Zawedde, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of ICT and National Guidance in Uganda; Hon. Thomas Gatkuoth, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services from the Republic of South Sudan; and Mr Yves Iradukunda, the Permanent Secretary for ICT and Innovation in Rwanda.
