CS Hon. William Kabogo Gitau graces the 7th Students National Economics Symposium at Kenyatta University

The CS remarked that the Symposium's theme, "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Economic Resilience, Financial Stability and Sustainability," availed a great platform to explore opportunities available in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Happening on the eve of launching Kenya's AI Strategy, CS Kabogo appreciated that the event set the tone for discussing ways of leveraging on AI for economic development.

He reiterated that the government is actively pursuing digital skilling, innovation, entrepreneurship and AI adoption as part of a broader strategy to empower the youth economically.

Present in the event were; Ag. Vice-Chancellor of Kenyatta University Prof. Waceke Wanjohi, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) Prof. James Kung'u and other members of Kenyatta University management.
