Partnerships Key to Building World-Class Digital Infrastructure

The Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Mr Stephen Isaboke, EBS, today hosted a delegation from Huawei Kenya led by Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sun Quan James and Director for Policy and Partnerships Mr. Adam Lane.

The meeting focused on strengthening connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure to support key national projects, including Talanta Stadium and its associated facilities.

Discussions highlighted the importance of robust digital infrastructure in enhancing Kenya's readiness to host major international conferences, sporting events and other global engagements. Reliable and high-quality connectivity was identified as a critical component in positioning the country as a world-class destination for investment, tourism, and international events.

The PS reaffirmed the importance of collaboration with technology partners in delivering infrastructure that supports Kenya's digital transformation agenda and enhances the country's competitiveness on the global stage.

The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with industry stakeholders and ensure that digital infrastructure keeps pace with Kenya's growing profile as a regional and international hub.
