PS Isaboke Hosts Young Creatives in Dialogue on Creative Economy
Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Mr Stephen Isaboke, today hosted a group of young creatives for an engaging and insightful conversation on the future of Kenya’s creative economy.
The discussions explored the immense potential within the sector and the pathways needed to nurture and grow young talent. From music and film to digital content and design, it was evident that young people are not just participating in the industry—they are actively shaping it and redefining its future.
A key focus of the engagement was how to unlock sustainable opportunities so that creativity becomes a viable livelihood. This includes strengthening support systems, expanding access to markets, leveraging technology, and ensuring that talent is recognised, protected and fairly rewarded. The future of the creative sector is bright, driven by bold and innovative young minds.
