Leveraging Government data and emerging technologies for evidence-based decision and policy making #DTPS2025

Speaking during a panel discussion held during the second day of the Digital Transformation Public Sector (DTPS) Forum and Awards being held in Mombasa, ICT and Digital Economy Principal Secretary Eng .John Tanui noted that data sharing and emerging technologies were key to improved service delivery.
The session titled "Breaking Down Silos towards a Whole of Government Approach" focused on fostering inter-ministerial collaboration. Key topics the panelists dived into comprise Data Sharing; Emerging Technologies for Service Delivery and strategies to enhance cooperation.
PS Tanui was joined by his counterparts James Muhati (Economic Planning);  Susan A. Mangeni (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises); Dr. Salome Wairimu Muhia ( Correctional Services); Idris Dakota (Cabinet Affairs) and Evelyn Cheluget (Director General, State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services).
