ICT PS PRESIDES OVER GovAI PUBLIC SECTOR WORKSHOP

ICT and  Digital Economy Principal Secretary, Eng. John Tanui presided over the official opening of the GovAI Public Sector Workshop, aimed at enlightening different institutions on GenAI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and how to utilize them in their different workstations for effective service delivery. 

In his key note address, the PS applauded the importance of incorporating AI tools which will boost innovations, increase investments, and promote effective data management.

Other topics of discussion include The Art of the Possible with Deloitte, showcasing global GenAI applications in the public sector, and the development of AI-powered service delivery, among others.

The workshop is a collaborative partnership between the Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy KE, Meta and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change  (TBI).
