The Government of Kenya recognises the critical role of robust media research

The Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications Mr Stephen Isaboke, EBS, has endorsed the establishment of a joint industry committee to media research.

Speaking on the PS’ behalf during the 25th Annual PAMRO Conference in Nairobi, Mr Temesi Mukani, the Secretary for Information and Broadcasting noted that the Ministry is eager to collaborate with PAMRO and other stakeholders to rebuild a robust research framework that will propel Kenya’s media industry forward.

“The Government of Kenya, through the State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunications, recognises the critical role that robust media research plays in driving economic growth and supporting a vibrant media ecosystem. We are committed to fostering an environment where data-driven insights empower brands, media and agencies to thrive,” he noted.
